Who is responsible for your data
TripodSelect (tripodselect.com) is run by Tlabs, a French sole trader registered under SIREN 944 754 522 at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. Tlabs decides how and why your personal data is used, which makes it the data controller. For anything on this page, email Contact@tripodselect.com with "Data request" in the subject line.
What we hold
- What you give us: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, a phone number if you provide one, what you ordered, and the content of any message you send us.
- What is collected as you browse: IP address, device and browser details, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and cookie identifiers.
- What our providers tell us: confirmation that a payment succeeded and the result of fraud screening. Your full card number never reaches us and is never stored by us.
Why we use it
- To take, ship and support your order, and to handle returns — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To prevent fraud, keep the store secure and meet accounting and tax obligations — our legal duties and our legitimate interest in running the business safely.
- To send marketing emails — only if you have consented, and you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every message.
- To measure traffic and advertising — only if you accept those cookies.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the cart and the checkout working, so they cannot be turned off. Analytics and advertising cookies, including the Shopify, Google and Meta tools we use, run only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings on the site, and your browser lets you block or delete cookies entirely.
Who else sees it
Only the providers we need to operate the shop: Shopify, which hosts the store; our payment processors; the fulfilment and delivery partners who pack and carry your parcel; our email provider; and our analytics and advertising providers where you have consented. We also disclose data when the law obliges us to. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Transfers outside the UK and EEA
Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered either by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Marketing contacts stay on our list until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is deleted after 3 years without contact.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email us and we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in your country.
Children
This store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
